the trees in our garden haven’t really been taken care of for a while as the old lady who used to live here got too old for gardening the last years of her life. pruning the apple trees is quite a lot of work since they have been growing wild for years, but luckily we have our little helper. he loves this season of planting and fixing. and we love his entusiasm. next weekend we’ll start working the neglected lawn. it does look kind of hopeless, but we’ll start out with giving it a good raking and then some garden lime to snack on. maybe some loving care can make soft green grass out of what appears to be mostly moss and weeds. we have a board on pinterest called urban gardening. peak in if you wanna dream of summer with us.
