when winter finally let go and the days get warmer on us - everything seam so simple. strolling the streets without the heavy weight of wool and boots, having lunch on the sun heated stairs and living for the moment fills us with joy and happiness. we are making plans for the summer, but don't have the same urge to get away as we did a month ago. life is sweet here now. Trondheim is beautiful under blue skies. this weekend we are going to do some gardening and some baking. we are going to the farmers marked and we will start preparing for Mikkel's big day two weeks ahead. there is a design event happening tomorrow that we would have loved to be part of, but we'll have to read about it instead as the weather channel has promised the warmest day so far in 2014. but! in due to the event there is a little competition going on in which we have been chosen as finalists. if you wanna support us head over there and vote for us.
top photo: our tagetes is all grown up now and are spending the days outside. we carry them back in again in the evenings though as the nights still are on the chilly side.
second: these clogs are so worn out that this summer probably will be our last. i'm gonna miss em when they go.
