after months of spring like weather, snow suddenly came to visit. we spent as much time as possible outside this weekend, knowing that it probably will melt away again in a bit. both the kids had friends over for the weekend and our home has been filled with laughter (and a couple of tears) and cookie eating faces. i love kids, especially when they come in groups. but i must admit it’s kind of nice to enjoy a cup of tea in silence with my best friend/partner in crime, and that is what i will do. right now!
