it's very dark around here at the moment. the sun comes up about nine in the morning and goes down again when the clock passes three am. we are feeling kind of tired. the weekends are nice though. staying indoors. lazy mornings. candles. but getting out of bed during the weekdays can be hard. now we're trying to find some daylight lamps that looks good without being overpriced. this wake-up light from philips is an alarm clock which slowly wakes you up by simulating a natural sunrise. and maybe this table lamp could light up Evald's room (via Fine Little Day). for Mikkel we're still searching for a daylight desk lamp that doesn't look like we stole it from the dentist's office. we're also thinking about replacing the naked bulb over our dining table with a black Candeo pendel. we have no experience with day light lamps, but hopefully buying a couple of them will make us more energetic. because as much as we love living in the north, the winter half of the year can be a challenge for the creativity. life is what you make of it. right?
