yesterday Evald harvested our last radishes and ate them sprinkled with maldon sea salt. and we tried something new! did you know that the green radish tops can be used like spinach? we gave them some olive oil and garlic, and a couple of frying pan minutes later those radish greens tasted so good served on golden toast together with a perfect runny egg. we will never toss those lovely leaves away again.
we spent our windy sunday at Sverresborg open air museum, which we also visited earlier this year. all the fun activities were closed as the summer season has come to it's end, but we still enjoyed walking, talking and picnicking together with the goats and pigs living there.
